I am three weeks from graduation, and did not have an understanding of pharmacology, but when I found this book in the store, I had to purchase it. Any book written by this series is worth having for an emerging practical nurse. The study guide is comprehensible as well. At least, I'll have a mastery of the drugs by the time I take the state boards!

this is the book recommended by our nursing school. i'm glad they chose this one because it's a great book, very easy to read and understand. Comprehensive. I also got a good deal: was able to buy this brand new for only $20 :)
